Good Faith Estimate

Good Faith Estimate requires all health care providers and health care facilities licensed, certified, or approved by the state to provide good faith estimates of expected charges for services and items offered to uninsured and self-pay consumers. This means as of January 1, 2022, any health care provider or health care facility subject to state licensure must provide current and future patients with a good faith estimate of expected charges for services and items within specific time frames.
